Draffen East, Stewarton

The Draffen East site represents a simple example of how value can be added to a project by pursuing a well thought and executed planning promotional strategy.

Not only were we able to secure the allocation of the site for residential development purposes, we were also able to successfully challenge the Council's affordable housing policy which, following the recommendation of the Examination Reporter, resulted in the policy being deleted from the Local Plan. The removal of this policy added significantly to our clients land value.

Having obtained a resolution to grant planning permission , the company are now providing advice to the clients legal team in relation to the negotiation of the S75 Agreement.
